    From 1837-1841
    Martin Van Buren was the eighth president of U.S. A. in 1837.His father was a farmer. He was the first president to become after the American Removal and was not from British family, his ancestors were Dutch. Martin Van Buren studied in law office and became a lawyer. He worked for white House and had been the secretary of state for President Andrew Jackson. Anderw Jackson later asked his party Democrat to nominate Van Buren as their presidential candidate.
    Historian Joel Siby said that most that most experts did not think Van Buren was a strong President, because in his tenure economic crises struck and the situation put the country in a depression. The other big problem, he faced a dispute with Britian related to the border between the U.S and Canada, the conflict nearby turned into war. Martin Van Buren was a friendly man.He married a young woman; he had grown up with, but she died of tuberculosis after twelve years leaving him with four sons. Historia Joel Sileby said, although Van Buren did not remarry, he was known as quite charming among the ladies. Joel Sileby said Van Buren wanted to bring new voters in the Democrat party, but in the election of 1840 van Buren’s political techniques was used against him and he could get another tenure to govern the U.S.A.
    At 79 he died of heart failure.
