    Everyday Grammar,
    ” Separable phrasal Verbs”
In my understanding, a separable verb means that it can be separated or can be broken by other words.
For example, in the phrasal verb,” turn off” we can put a direct object in the middle, like
Turn off, please turn off the tv.
Call up He called me up to tell me about it.
Calm down We tried to calm people’s fear down.
Drop off I will drop you off on my way home.
