Commonly Confused words are that sound alike or look alike often confused us, and there are many words in the Englis Language that are easy to confuse with one another.
For example, Advice/ Advise
Advice is a noun: my grandmother gave me good advice.
Advise is a verb: I advised my son to avoid chicken salad.
Affect/ Effect
Affect is usually a verb: Even a small adjustment can affect the outcome of the
experiment.
Effect is most commonly used as a noun meaning, ” a result or consequence of an action
or other cause, His sunburn was an effect of exposure to the sun
